The management committee is made up of volunteers, working closely together with Emma Smith (Manager), Lisa Lovell (Deputy Manager) and Susan Baker (Deputy Manager for Kids Club) to ensure the delivery of childcare is of the highest quality.
The committee is an important and essential component of the Nursery and is made up of parents/carers who wish to contribute towards its ongoing management and development.
As some of our current committee members’ children are moving on to big school, we are looking for new committee members. If you have some spare time to come and join us at our committee meetings, we get together once every month at the moment to discuss all matters concerning the day to day management of the Nursery and plan forthcoming fundraising events. We welcome Mums, Dads, Grandparents and Carers alike and encourage active involvement and collaboration within the Committee.
There are lots of reasons to become involved in your child’s Nursery. The most important being that Nursery cannot run without a committee, however, it’s also the chance to really make a difference, and to have the opportunity to gain new skills!
